Predictable Agency Economics

White Label WordPress Pricing for Agencies

Softvole prices project work around an agreed scope instead of an open-ended hourly meter. The goal is simple: your agency should know its production cost before it commits to the client-facing delivery.

Development only, or design and development

Most pricing confusion between agencies and production partners comes from one question: who owns the design? The answer changes the work, the responsibility and the price. Pick the route that matches how your agency sells, and the numbers below follow from it.

Route one

You design. We build.

Your team has already sold and approved the design. We implement it in WordPress with the structure, responsive behaviour and quality checks agreed in the scope.

  • You supply the approved design file, usually Figma
  • You own art direction and client feedback
  • We own build quality, responsive behaviour and handover
  • Lower production cost, because design is already paid for

$1,200

Route two

We design and build.

You bring the brief and the client relationship. We take design responsibility through to a built, tested WordPress website, still behind your brand.

  • We wireframe and design before build
  • You approve direction at defined checkpoints
  • We own design and development together
  • Higher production cost, because more responsibility sits with us
Production starts at

$3,500

  Starting Prices

Use these numbers for qualification, not as a substitute for scoping

Category 1 · Build from your design

Development from an approved design

These prices apply when your agency provides a completed, client-approved design file. They are production engagements with a defined scope, not open-ended development time.
Most common first project

$1,200

Starting from

Landing Page Development

A single focused page built from your approved design — campaign, launch or lead-generation.

  • Approved Figma or equivalent design file
  • WordPress or Elementor development
  • Responsive implementation across defined breakpoints
  • Standard quality checks before handover
  • Integrations defined in the project scope

Animation, custom interaction, content entry and additional integrations are scoped and quoted with the project.

$2,400

Starting from

Website Development

A multi-page WordPress website built from your approved design, covering up to approximately five unique page templates.

  • Up to about five unique templates included
  • Additional unique template: $350–$450 each, by complexity
  • Reusable structure so similar pages stay efficient
  • Responsive implementation and quality checks
  • Structured content fields where the scope requires them

Page count and template count are different things. The section below explains how we count them.

Category 2 · Design and build

We take design responsibility as well

For agencies without design capacity in-house, or without capacity this quarter. You keep the client, the strategy and the commercial relationship. We produce the website behind your brand.

Business Website

Design and WordPress development for a multi-page business website, from brief to tested build.

  • Wireframes and high-fidelity design before build
  • Approval checkpoints agreed at the start
  • WordPress development and responsive implementation
  • Structured content models where the scope requires them
  • Quality checks and documented handover
Final price depends on unique templates, functionality, content responsibility and timeline.

$3,500

Starting from

Redesign and Migration

A modern rebuild of an existing website, with the existing site treated as part of the scope rather than an afterthought.

  • Inventory of existing URLs, content and integrations
  • Redirect planning and URL preservation where required
  • Responsive rebuild on WordPress
  • Content migration defined in the project scope
  • Pre-launch and post-launch checks to reduce technical risk
Migration reduces avoidable technical risk during a rebuild. It does not control how a search engine ranks a site, and we make no ranking claims.

Category 3 · WooCommerce

Stores are priced on transactional complexity

A store is not a brochure website with products added. Catalogue structure, checkout rules, payments, shipping and integrations all carry production and testing effort, so WooCommerce has its own starting prices.

$4,500

Starting from

WooCommerce — Build from Approved Design

Your approved store design, built and tested. You own the design direction; we own the build.

  • Approved design file for store and key templates
  • Catalogue, product and checkout implementation in scope
  • Payment and shipping configuration as defined
  • Responsive implementation and store testing

WooCommerce — Design and Build

Design and development together, for agencies that want the whole store produced behind their brand.

  • Store design including product and checkout journeys
  • Catalogue architecture and product data structure
  • WooCommerce development, configuration and testing
  • Documented handover for your team or the client’s

What moves a WooCommerce quote

Product architecture
Catalogue size, categories, attributes and how products relate to each other.
Product variations
Options, bundles and conditional logic that change what a customer can buy.
Checkout complexity
Fields, steps, rules and anything that changes the standard purchase flow.
Subscriptions
Recurring billing, renewals and customer account behaviour over time.
Membership
Gated content, access rules and the relationship between accounts and products.
Custom functionality
Anything the store needs that standard WooCommerce behaviour does not cover.
Integrations
Payments, CRM, ERP, email, analytics and other external systems in scope.
Shipping and tax
Zones, rates, carriers and tax rules that have to be configured and tested.
Complex stores are quoted individually. We would rather scope the work properly than quote a number that changes later.

Category 4 · Website care

Ongoing care, priced per site

Care is recurring work, so it is priced monthly for each website. Agencies resell these plans under their own brand and their own pricing. Every tier has a defined service list, agreed in your care agreement.

  What Moves a Quote

Price the work units that actually create production effort

Good scoping looks past a headline page count and identifies the parts of a website that require unique design, development, migration, testing, or coordination.
Scope driver Why it changes effort Typical examples
Unique templates Each unique layout creates design, responsive, development, and QA work Home, service, location, case study, team, resource, product templates
Design responsibility Brief-first projects add wireframing and high-fidelity design before build Design from brand guidelines versus approved Figma handoff
Structured content Reusable content models require planning beyond visual page assembly ACF fields, custom post types, directories, teams, locations, resources
Integrations External systems add functional dependencies and testing CRM, booking, maps, forms, analytics, marketing tools
Migration Existing URLs, content, data, redirects, and integrations need inventory and verification Redesigns, platform moves, WooCommerce data
Ecommerce rules Stores introduce transactional behavior beyond normal pages Products, variations, shipping, tax, subscriptions, payments
Timeline urgency Compressed delivery can require scheduling decisions or parallel production Launch dates, campaigns, events, seasonal ecommerce

  Agency Margin

Softvole provides the production cost. Your agency controls the client price.

White label economics only work when the agency retains commercial control. Softvole does not tell the partner what markup to use or how to structure its client proposal.
01

Quote with confidence

A defined production cost lets the agency add strategy, account management, creative direction, client communication, and its desired margin without guessing what delivery will eventually cost.
02

Keep the invoice

The end client pays the partner agency according to the agency’s own commercial arrangement. Softvole stays behind the scenes as fulfillment.
03

Protect scope

When the client asks for something new, the agency can decide whether to absorb it, reprice it, or issue a change request after Softvole scopes the additional production work.

  Fixed Price Logic

What fixed means and what it does not mean

Fixed pricing protects the agreed project from normal production uncertainty. It does not turn new requirements into free work.
Path 01

Fixed means

  • The agreed production scope has an agreed cost
  • Normal internal production time creates no surprise invoices
  • You can price the client proposal against a known cost
  • The quote does not change because the work took us longer than expected
Path 02

Fixed does not mean

  • New pages after the scope is approved
  • New features or integrations added later
  • A change of design direction after approval
  • New store rules discovered after the store scope is agreed
  • Compressed timelines that were not part of the plan

  Example Scope Thinking

Why a quote should be more detailed than "12 pages"

The examples below are not fixed packages. They show how the same surface-level page count can hide very different production requirements.
Example Looks simple because What actually needs scoping
12-page marketing site Only 12 URLs How many unique templates, whether Figma is approved, forms, CRM, content entry, custom post types
8-page SaaS site Fewer pages Unique page designs, animation, pricing logic, integration requirements, conversion tracking
30-page location site High page count Could be efficient if most pages reuse one structured location template
Small store Only 40 products Variations, shipping, tax, payment, subscriptions, integrations can still make it complex

  Pricing FAQ

Questions agencies ask before requesting a quote

Why does Softvole use fixed project pricing instead of hourly billing?

Fixed project pricing gives the agency a known production cost after scope is agreed. That makes it easier to build the client proposal, protect margin, and avoid a situation where normal production time turns into an open-ended hourly total.
The exact inclusions depend on the brief. The $1,500 figure is a starting point for a scoped landing-page project, not a universal flat fee for every landing page regardless of design, integrations, content, animation, or deadline.
Total page count can hide production complexity. A 15-page site built from five reusable templates may be simpler than an eight-page site where every page has a unique layout, complex interactions, custom content structures, and multiple integrations.
The agreed price stays fixed for the agreed scope. If the agency or client adds a new requirement after scope is locked, the project lead identifies the change and prices the additional work before it begins.
No long-term retainer is required to start a project. Agencies can work project by project. Website care is an ongoing monthly service because the work itself is recurring.
Yes. Softvole provides the agency’s production cost. The partner agency controls what it charges its client, how it packages the work, and the margin it wants to protect.
Softvole scopes work around project requirements rather than the agency’s location. Partners are served across the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and the GCC.
